AUDIO
At this point, it's a bit of a trope that audio engineers start as musicians trying to record their own music. Like many, my enthusiasm for recording my band at the time was the catalyst which pushed me to get some cheap recording equipment, realizing it was way harder than I thought, going back to school to study audio engineering, and eventually landing a great job as an engineer at a local studio. In my time there I conducted recording, editing, and mix sessions for cartoons, tv shows, bands and solo artists, podcasts, educational and corporate projects, among others.
My background in music and audio engineering has been indispensable when producing videos.
